Staff Testimonials

  • "My time working at Embodied Wellness was especially formative. As someone who relishes learning and studying in informal ways, Sarah is a supervisor and business owner any Embodied Wellness employee or Social Work colleague would be wise to learn from. From a business perspective, Embodied Wellness is an extremely adaptive therapy practice. Sarah launched it during one of the most defining times where many practices were struggling to transition to the unknown factors of a global pandemic. She brings that same insight and quick action into building out her practice to adapt to the needs of current stakeholders as Embodied Wellness shifts into a W-2 format. Two of Sarah’s secret sauces are communication and creating conditions that make possible streamlined processes. I highly recommend this as a company to work for for clinicians interested in strong administrative support so that you can do what you do well with clients and not worry about the rest."

This year at Embodied Wellness has secured my hope to become comfortable intertwining the body into psychotherapy and to continue to expand my knowledge and gain additional skills as I always want to be learning more. A joy to share connection during empowering group dialectic learning and supervision in an immediately comfortable space filled with heartfelt expertise. I've been met with consistent kindness, patience, respect, openness, and clarity, which has been so refreshing after being a part of the mental health field for many years. • "I genuinely enjoyed my time at Embodied Wellness. The onboarding process was very smooth. As a remote worker, I needed to become licensed in Michigan to work for the practice. Sarah was incredibly helpful with the process and I felt supported every step of the way. If there were any issues with documentation or contacting clients, they were readily resolved. Also, the hours were flexible and supervision was always insightful! "
